The bark of Chinese Elm begins to flake with age creating a mottled appearance of gray, cream, orange, and brown. Shiny dark green leaves turn yellow in fall. Grows 40-50′ in height with a canopy spread of 25-35′. USDA Hardiness Zones: 4-9
